Bristol Braille Technology Announces HID Braille Support in Canute 360

In an exclusive announcement to members of the Technology Association of Visually Impaired People (TAVIP), Ed Rogers, Managing Director of Bristol Braille Technology, revealed plans to introduce support for the HID Braille protocol to the Canute 360 multi-line braille eReader. Amongst its many benefits, this will introduce support for the popular JAWS for Windows screen reader from Vispero.

The timeline for HID Braille implementation is currently being finalised, but it is expected to arrive by the end of 2026.
