Are you interested in other mechanical Braille writing machines?
If so, this is the event for you.
It will be an opportunity to explore a small exhibition of historic braille writing devices and get your Perkins cleaned and serviced by Alan Thorpe, an experienced mechanic.
The event is being organised in partnership with Bristol Braille Technology, developers of the Canute multi-line Braille e-reader.
Please note that a basic Perkins clean and service will cost £25. If more extensive work is needed you will need to negotiate a price with Alan and send your Perkins to him for repair.
There is no charge for visiting the exhibition.
