At the stand we will be selling slates and stylus for £5 each to anyone already signed up to the newsletter, or willing to sign up. These are the Janus inter-line slates which take 3″ by 5″ index cards. We are promoting these after it was agreed in the Braillists London meeting last year that slates were much underused in the UK.
As the Braillists are sharing a stand with Bristol Braille there will also be a Canute 360 (now available for pre-order!) at Solihull for anyone wanting to try it out. Talk to Liam Smyth and David Sykes on the stand for a demo.
