Our weekly “Stay Safe: Stay Connected” Zoom call.
This week we’ll be discussing staying entertained during the lockdown as a visually impaired person, from books to boxsets. If you have any questions or ideas about keeping entertained during these unsettling times, the call will be your perfect chance to share them with the community!
We’ll be talking about accessible libraries, how you can use other organisations services to read books, news and magazines, and how you can use online streaming services if you’ve not accessed them before. We’ll be joined by experts who’ll be on hand to answer any questions you might have, from accessing audiobooks to audio description on Netflix. We’re expecting this to be a popular session, so if we have a lot of questions, we will continue next week.
